A Couple of Pots and Some What-Nots

Postby OldUsedParts » Sat Jan 23, 2021 10:44 am

Down Home and Suthern Cookin could also be the Theme today since the Wiffy is fixin a Pot of Lima Beans with What Not's and Smoked Ham Hocks.

I'm gonna fill "my Pot" with Collard Greens and lots of What Nots also including SPG and some fresh chopped Jalapenos

I'm not cheating on Miss Martha but the cover of that box of Zatarain's Honey Butter Cornbread just jumped into my shopping cart and I didn't have the heart to put it back on the cold, dark shelf. :(

This is my first time to use this particular Mix, but I'm sure it will be very tasty.
We normally use Martha White's Sweet Yellow Cornbread Mix but didn't you mention not liking Sweet tastes ?
They have the regular unsweetened version also.

Everything was great and every bite reminded me of the times that we sat down at the Sunday Dinner Table knowing Dad didn't get paid until the next Friday.

:!: The Cornbread Mix was :?: OK :?: but we'll be using Martha White Sweet Yeller Cornbread Mix from now on. We both thought that the Zatarains Honey Butter was "way too sweet".  Sorry daBertl, maybe you can change it or just see what Y'all think? The Kiddos and Missus might love it :dont: :?:

The Ham Hocks were Awesome after the Rind and Bonze were removed. I'm as full as a Mule in a Corn Patch :whiteflag:

Amigeaux's Cutting Block was the ideal tool for removing the center Veins.
