Civil War Recipes

This site is really interesting. Not just the recipes but the history of different foods and how they have changed. Some of the recipes sound very good. :D
The history of the Civil War is an interesting time in history. :D

Hey if you ever want the true poop on the War of Northern Agression get yourself a book called.."Confederates in the Attic." It was one of them no put em down till you read it from stem to stern type books. Keep an eye peeled for it if you aint already had a chance to peruse it.

Great link. Some of the cooking methods, well.... much has change over the years, many thanks to the guy who invented refrigeration!
