Buns

Postby nascarchuck » Sun May 27, 2007 11:32 am

I am looking for large hot dog buns. Something that is large enough for a big ol piece of sausage. something kinda like they do at Lowes and Home Depot.

I asked at Sams and they looked at me like I was making the big bun thing up. Albertsons store "director" told me they just changed bakeries that makes their store brand breads and they don't have the big buns, yet. He said to give them a couple of weeks. I just don't ever remember seeing them there before.

Any ideas on where to find em (in my area - DFW )?

Hoggie rolls, huh? I actually looked at both stores for anything that would work, but didn't see a thing. It was late in the day and maybe they were sold out though...

Well, them hoggie rolls were pretty good, but I sure had to open my mouth awful big to cram that thing in my mouth! Wife and son sucked em down quick!

Will have to look into the Brat Buns. Sound like what I am looking for.

Well, off to the kitchen for meal #2 for the throwdown!
