Turkey, because...

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Wed Feb 15, 2017 7:10 pm

...we are both a little under the weather. And just needed some turkey. Had one of those turkey roll roasts and a couple of thighs. Thighs went in the slow cooker, turkey roll in the oven with celery, on-yawn and carrots and a little white wine.

Potatoes got rough-mashed with scallion, parsley, butter 'n' milk.

There was a lot of juice from both the slow cooker and pan. The best thing will be the leftovers...none of the work, all of the fun.

And best of all, it generated lots of leftovers for low-effort meals in the future.
