Re: Overnight French Toast
Yes Sir, That looks great. I love the smell of french toast.
I will try this for sure, my last run was an overnight french toast in a crockpot. It was good but a little soggy.

It was a success for sure and ur welcome professor.
Hope u let us know what you think of it.
Russ, great to hear ur gonna give it a shot as well.
I wish wish wish wish WISH I could convince you to give the oven a try just this once.
I've always grilled French toast as well until I tried baking it.
Just think of it this way...
Marinating chicken overnight usually if not always makes a better chicken dish than just coating and slappen them on the grill right ?
Let the thick French bread sit in the egg and spice bath overnight and bake evenly at 400 for 25-30 minutes will give u more time to drink some cold ones....um, I mean coffee.... Lol.
Didn't take much, I'm going to do it your way, lol.

Re: Overnight French Toast
Thanks guys , we been together since 73, I saw her get on a bus I was on, I knew then I wanted her, I was smitten instantly, but didnt meet with her til a year later when I had a motorbike and was working. I went to babysit with my girlfriend at the time with her neighbours kids,my future wife was a friend of my then girlfriend, who asked me if I could take her friend home later. Of course I could take her home, rest is history, all our friends think its a good story. I wouldn't change a thing.

Re: Overnight French Toast
Wife's been going on about French toast, I told her about this one, so tonight I'm prepping this and doing it in the oven. I will do scrambled eggs. She had scrambled with bacon this morning so we will see how this goes. Pics to follow.
Thanks for recipe.
