Aaeeeeeee Bambieeeeeee Boudin

Postby OldUsedParts » Sat Apr 08, 2017 1:53 pm

decided to defrost the Freezer Mate to the awesome Quail that my son gave me not long ago - - it was some Cajun Venison Boudin - - - I chose to do one link for lunch in the Oven and maybe later do the other two smaller ones over Kingsford BUT after tasting this one from the Oven, I'm not sure that isn't the PERFECT WAY to do these :dont: I've eaten Boudin from some good places and some not so good places but the seasonings in todays was the best I have ever tasted - - - one of those "please almost every palate link of boudin" :salut: they were processed by a local Firm called Flemings Processing http://flemingsprocessing.com/ and ?if? I ever have the need for Game processing, they will be my go-to fo sho  a small and simple dinner but the enjoyment was LARGE

Never ate Bambi, but we had some of his big brother. That sausage looks way better!

this was probably Grandpaw but that don't rhyme with Aaeeeeeeeee :laughing7:

FWIW - Bambi was required camp meat at most of our former Deer Camps, on opening weekend. That's one reason we ended up whole smoking that Cabrito - - - dang beginner hunters anyhow
