Easy Jambalaya

Postby Williep » Thu Apr 27, 2017 3:06 pm

Chicken sausage jambalaya that is. I had already cooked the shrimp and cut up every thing before I thought about taking pic's. Sauteed the onion, bell pepper, celery, then added garlic paste, 1 lb smoked chicken sausage (Jr's Smokehouse in Wharton) and sauteed a few more minute's. Them added diced tomatoes, chicken broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, cajun seasoning, coarse ground black pepper and brought that to a boil and then simmered for about half an hour. Next came 2 pack's of Uncle Ben's Ready Rice and 1 lb shrimp, let it sit on low heat for a few minute's and I called it ready.
