It's been a few months since I've ran this route and today screamed ( GEAKERS ) as lunch time was upon me.
I usually get the jerk sauce but today I felt like trying a new ( Carribean ) sauce and I was not disappointed...Fresh fried gator in a huge home made soft tortilla, freshest mater's I think I've ever had come from this joint.Shredded cheddar rocks and rabbit food tasty as well.
I love when a family run business is this successful througout the years.

I've had croc meat a few times, I guess it tastes like gator? Chickeny type flavour.

Most Gator I've eaten was similar to Sheeken but "better" IMHO - - - - However, it coulda just been Cher and Boudreaux doing the cooking that caused it.

I don't know if I can explain this and have it make sense at the same time, but both times I've had this and the time a good friend sent me some from down south, it resembled chicken and fish at the same time. I guess I would call it fisken...

Re: Back Road Gator Tacos
There used to be a little road side stand here that sold gator po boys and I heard people complain that he wasn't "authentic" cajun because he marinated his gator before frying but I swear whatever he did it was the most tender gator I ever ate!! Wish he was still around but I would probably weigh 400 pounds if he was!!!
