Last minute Easter Dinner

Postby woodenvisions » Sun Apr 01, 2018 8:51 pm

Plans ended up changing last minute so tonights grub was a last minute throw sumtin together kind of deal.
Used my favorite Glaze on a Ham we threw in the Big Easy. Scored and added a bunch load of Cloves. Layered some Asparagus and taters with Evoo, fresh chopped Garlic, S&P and roasted them on top of the Ham for roughly 1 hr.
Took the Taters and Asparagus off, Glazed the Ham with 2 types of a Whiskey ,Brown Sugar ,Pom Juice, Molasses ,Mustard ,and Buckwheat Honey. Added Fresh Pineapple and Cherrys.
Lowered it back in the BE and put on the Crisper Lid for another 20 min.
I could eat the glazed bark of this ham every day :):)

Thanks girls and guys :)
Surprisingly, it all actually ( worked ) out without me stressing about something overcooking.
It all went on and came off together.
I must say tho that I found my new favorite way to do spuds and Asparagus !
