Sinew Loaf! ;)

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Wed Apr 25, 2018 2:53 pm

In a wildly experimental move, we had bought some ground beef for meat loaf at Aldi, only to find on opening the package that it had lonnnnng and unappetizing strands of sinew running all through it.

What to do? I already had diced red bell peppa and yellow onyawn, sour cream, grated chez, and a host of bread crumbs and seasonings prepared.

Slow cooker to the rescue! Made little single-serve meat cannonballs instead of one big loaf, added some graby, and presto! Edible meat eight hours later.

Baked tater and bejables on the side. ;) And no more buying meat from That Place.

it was pretty good this way.

But for the future, our list of items that we'll buy from that store keeps shrinking.
