thanks Pardnah, ultra simple - - equal parts of Cornmeal and boiling water - - mix and then form into patties and fry.
Of course you can spice up the dry mix with anything you choose like cajun seasoning, chopped veggies/peppers/own-yawns - - - I really prefer using Self-rising Cornmeal but I didn't have any so I used plain cornmeal today - - Sherry said the taste was the best so far and I added roasted peppers and cajun seasoning.

Ok, I'm gunna try this, when my granddaughter is having a stay over, she loved the cornbread I made on the BBQ last time. She like me, a big fan with lots of butter.

Cheers amigo.

Good deal, I've been doing these a long time and during that time I have fixed them for several family members, young and old. There's been more than one occasion that I had to do a second and even third batch because someone really got into them big time. :salut:

thanks, PB, to me they are just a better way to fry the mix than Hush Puppies which I'm not that fond of but I really like Corn Dodgers  One warning when frying, do them quick or they will get too hard.
