My wife has controll of the menu this weekend cause of Mother's Day.
She requested steaks on Sunday and for Saturday she wanted .....you guessed it.....deep fried fresh Salmon.
I was more then happy to try and make that possible.
So on Thursday 2 buddies and myself met at 5 am at my house. We trailered my boat to a launch just South of the Canadien border. Launched the boat and made a 30 some mile run up into Canada.
Mission accomplished. Back home at 1 pm.
Didn't catch anything big but will make for great eats.
Lucky for me one of the fish I ended up with was my fav, a white King
Man it's a tough job keeping your wife happy

Looks like a good day I agree, that white king has a nice flavor. I haven't caught one in a few years, but coincidentally, it was in Canada too.
