Happy Wife Happy Life

Postby OldUsedParts » Thu May 24, 2018 12:42 pm

Fixed four of the Wiffy's favorites today. Chicken Fried Chicken, Cream Gravy, Brussel Sprouts and Loaf Cake.
Pretty much normal except for the Myer Lemon Cake ingredients. When I looked at the recipe and it read 10 tblsp of Butter, I almost chunked it but SWMBO said to bake it so I did.
She hasn't cut into it yet but will very soon I imagine and it feels so great to be a Hero again.

I gotta do sprouts again......real soon. Maybe when I get my kitchen back. Kitchen and laundry is empty due to the floor being prepped for new vinyl. Vinyls lost during shipping. We're living in a very full lounge, lol. These things are sent to try us.

Lol, it's been a comedy of errors, 4 days with limited use of the kitchen. Vinyls been found now but they can't get someone to lay it til Monday, possibly Tuesday? Family day on Sunday's cancelled. Crazy.
