Also speaking of petro I learned a expensive lesson cheap gas don't pay ($500 for the tow and mechanic part cost $16.)

This was initiated by BMW because they were getting too many warranty claims that were fuel related.
As you look through the list of TT licensed stations you will notice many are your lower priced stops.

There are also additives that will do the job like Chevron Techron, Gumout Regane or BG 44K but they are more expensive than just buying good gas.
An example of what it does was learned with my Corvette. After the tow incident with my Malibu I decided I'd better do something with my other vehicles because I'd just been using whatever gas.
I thought my Corvette ran fine but put a bottle of Gumout Rogane in a full tank and didn't make it a block before the thing started sputtering and coughing that continued for about 10 miles then it started running better than I can remember. Obviously the ol' Vette's fuel system really needed the cleaning.
