That’s a win.

Growing up near Detroit, my father would head down to Dearborn where it was at the time very ethnic and had a little Italy area. Not quite sure today but 40 years ago it did. We would to get Italian sausage, ice cream in a block cut and cookies. The cookies were usually the same almond base with either a paste, slivered almonds or sesame seed on top. The link I gave was a cookie I was told if I ever got close when driving to stop and pick up a dozen. It is in the middle of Washington I did, liked them then found the recipe a while later. It is stop on.

I’ll give that one a try. Thanks

Hmm, I can't open that link for some reason. I could spend an entire day in an Italian Bakery or Specialty store.

My link? I tried the last two links and they worked for me. Thanks for providing me with the link to the layered cookie

We have a Mediterranean store open up not far from me, I pass it on the way home. I go in there at least twice a week. They have a halal butcger as well. I love the smells in there.
