Galveston Shrimp Festival Sept ‘18 competition practice. It’s currently pan-fried but will try smoking w/pecan before frying. Need a sauce to take it over the top! Anyone got any ideas they can share ?

Mix a tiny bit of Catsup with a lot of Horseradish Sauce (aka Cocktail Sauce) but use according to the individuals taste buds. That sauce will certainly go with the Shrimp Flavor.

How about a nice hollendaise sauce and on a light, butter toasted brioche bun?
Or a roasted red bell pepper remoulade sauce on the same bun?
BTW, that competition sounds like fun! I'm considering attending the cook-off as well. Have you done this cookoff before?

It’s suppose to be fun! I’m joining my rodeo bbq team that has been there awhile. Wife And I reserved Room so we can party. We have a tent there. Come by and say hello.
That remoulade sauce sounds interesting. Thx!

I like catsup, cocktail sauce and SB's chipotle pepper sauce mixed together. I may drive down for the Shrimp Festival, only about an hour or less from the house.

Re: Bacon mozzarella Shrimp burger
try ya a smiggin of gochujang sauce, it is a sesame oil flavored Korean chili sweet sauce, it will bring your shrimp to their toes... not too much just a child size sample...
