Hi Guys, i think, I´m back
Back to Munich but not back to my BBQ Heaven, because the Poolbuilders did not finished yet and so I´m kept away from Grillin and Chillin. Besides from that I thonk i´ll have to lose some Kilos.
So thats why we had to eat something, but it has to be done in the kitchen. We hope that in 2 weeks all will be ok. Untoll that i`ll not be grillin. Maybe tomorrow ...

That looks really good. Is there a recipe you wouldn’t mind sharing?

Re: Potatoe-Kassler-Sauerkraut-Stew
There was only an idea in my mind, no recipe.
But i used about 1 pound potatoes, about 700 gr. smoked Kassler, 1 Pack Sauerkraut, Soup, strong cheese, heavy cream and Creme Fraiche.
Cook the potatoes, and cut them in 1cm thick slices.
Then frie onion, garlic and carrot together with the Kassler in a pan. After some Minutes put about 200ml (nearly 1 cup) Soup inside and let it reduce to half.
Then take a casserole, put first the potatoes and some cheese, then half of the kassler, the Sauerkraut, the other half of Kassler and Cheese on top.
Then mix about 200ml heavy Cream, 1 Tablespoon Creme Fraiche, 3 Eggs and a little cheese and put it on top.
This u have to bake for about 40 Minutes at 190 degrees Celsius.

Seeing your cooks reminds me of my younger days with Oma and Opa. The smells that came from the kitchen were scents of dreams!
