Cheddar and Onion Burger Night

Postby woodenvisions » Sun Sep 09, 2018 6:27 pm

Since were stuck inside since Thursday, I figured we might as well grill up some Red Onions and break out the Cheddar Cheese on some Toasted Sesame Buns.
Used the small indoor Flat Top Griddle for some 1/2 lbers. Red Onions, Cheddar, Dukes and Heinz on the Toasted Sesame with some Bread And Butter Pickles.

Good stuff for sure. Went well done because the little monster is eating this as well so I took one for the team but it was still very good :)

Only one for me because I'm waiting for the desert to finish...Slow Cooker Hot Fudge Brownie Cakes :):)

Very nice.

Beautiful purple onions, they are one of my favorite things. Used to eat them with my Meemaw as a kid. If we eat a pot of beans I cut them in quarters and use the onion as an edible spoon.

That's one serious burger, I'm drooling looking at it. I'm torn between being your neighbour or parts neighbour.

You want to be Parts neighbor, and just move Woody down here.

That’s the beauty of where these two live. You could live next to WV in the summer then become what we call a Snowbird and spend winters next to Parts!

Thx man, I absolutely Love Purple Onions !
Only onion I prefer over these are the Sweet Vadalias but for the grill its hands down Purple.
As for your edible scoop, that's a great idea. I love them raw as well.

Lol thanks Russ.
Take the advice, move to Texas before the Poconos. Unless your a Polar Bear, you wouldn't very much appreciate the winter time :):)
Plus, the chance of being violated by a Black Bear or a Coyote are much much MUCH higher here than near Emm, that I can guarantee.

As much as I'd like to see Texas, I'd miss the 4 seasons and family which is all up this way. Its definitely on my list tho to go visit, that's for sure.

Great looking burger!

A spot in the garage?! With bringing skills like yours to the party, I'd at least upgrade that to the couch!
