Tried a little different tweek to the bacon wrapped weenie by also wrapping it in corned beef before applying the bacon and then frying in hot oil.
I wish I'd had some think sliced Smoke Ham instead of the Corned Beef but it still turned out OK - - - (note to self: Pick up some smoked Ham slices)

Thanks Y'all, yes, Willie Sir, they work just fine for that "quick" fry in oil. The Recipe said that you can use them when grilling also, as long as you push almost all the way in and push them lengthwise so they don't interfere with rolling on the grill grate. They are also easy to roll in the hot oil this way who'da thunk
