First time do this be nice

Postby Copasspupil » Fri Sep 28, 2018 7:27 pm

Having a wife that is gluten free now, pies are not something we get to enjoy this time of year and one of my daughters was a little hangry so I decided to try and make one so here it is an apple and orange flavored apple pie.

Amongst friends here, nothing but a supportive environment.

And while I confess to be non-gluten free, my fair and even handed critique is that is a really nice looking crust. When you going to pry it open?

It was good. My daughter had 1/4 of it while the others two and I got a small slice. The outer crust was sugary crispy and good. Liked the apples I used as well with a hint of orange in it

Looks like it turned out successful! It has that old fashioned look to it.. Like the pie you'd see cooling In the window of a 1960s suburban home. Kudos!

Yesiree - - - - all that needs is my plate under it and a scoop of Blue Bell Niller on top  a slice of 'merican chez melted on top works well also

I wish I could have but the girls went to town in it. The three of them just about ate the whole thing.
