Member Inspired Tacos

Postby OldUsedParts » Mon Feb 04, 2019 1:17 pm

Lunch today was the results of several Members suggestions and previous posts.
The idea of Taco Shell Flats or Boats as Joe calls them came from Taco Friday in Norways not long ago.
The Pulled Pork idea came from Sooner when he described Mexican Street Tacos to Joe.
The Zapps Hotter than Hot Jalapeno Chip idea was from Alamo City Ric.

All of the above ideas along with Pepper Jack Cheese, Suckle Busters Chipotle Sauce, Homemade Salsa, chopped Lettuce and warmed up Chili made today's Lunch a success. "Thanks Gents" :salut:

The only OUP Tweeking that I did was to turn the Jalapeno Tator Chips into Tator Nachos, since I had no Frito Bean Dip "as of yet"

Forgot to mention that the taste and bite through of the Ortega Flats was great and they stayed together until the last bite which was really a surprise :salut:

Well I'll be Doggone, there is something green on one of OUP's plates that doesn't involve a jalapeño.

That's cool. I prefer to eat taco like that. Less messy than the ordinary taco shell which drops your food all over.

Looks good those boats :laughing7:

Thanks, Y'all - - - Limey, those Chips, altho tater chips, have enuff body to them and they worked great with that Pepper Jack on top.

One more thing, if I may quote Norway Joe:
"Who would have thought that a taco tip from a Norwegian should end up as a favourite for a Texan!! By the way, they are called taco boats" :dont: :laughing7:
