Ok, its your discretion but I myself prefer the Sea Scallops over the Bay Scallops. I'm not sure what's available for you two so either will work but obviously the larger ones ( Sea ) are more forgiving and easier to wrap with Bacon

Reason I asked is because that your Nu wave does Bacon wrapped Scallops to die for !.
I used the lower rack and mixed a mix of Salted Butter ( melted ) , Minced Garlic and a little Fresh Grated Parm and brushed it over the wrapped Scallops half way thru cooking.
I can't remember the exact total cook time but I think it was under 10 minutes.

Just wanted to share with you two , they are DELICIOUS

On ur left hand, touch your thumb to your index finger.
Now with your right hand, use ur index finger and poke at that ball of flesh just below the base of ur thumb on ur left hand.

That's what a Rare steak should feel like.

Next finger will be medium to medium rare.

Next will be medium to medium well.

And the pinky finger will be closer to well done.

Some may call this b.s. and I'm ok with that because I was once one of those that didn't believe it, but its always worked for me every time.

Just a little something to try.

Mmmm, bacon scallops!

As promised, salmon.

'Grilled' with just soy sauce, mustard, pepper and maple syrup. It was goooooood. Almost as good as the salmon we grill outdoors, and half the time (ten minutes rather than twenty). About one pound in three pieces.

Tater-egg salad on the side.

Only thing is, I am not a fan of any kind of fish smell in the house, even a pleasant one like this.

I suppose with bacon-wrapped scallops, the bacon scent would predominate. :laughing7:

After quite a bit of airing out the house we've decided that all fish will now get cooked outdoors. Luckily, it's almost warm enough here to let the grillin & smokin begin. ;)

I do all my fish including the bacon wrapped scallops on the grill most of the time; rarely in the oven
