Sucklebusters Pinto Bean Seasoning
The time has arrived to finally try Sucklebusters Pinto Bean Seasoning. I put them in the crockpot yesterday morning and when I arrived home from work, I was greeted with the glorious smell coming from the kitchen all the way in my garage. Since my heat level liking is much higher than Mrs Tex, I added some Sucklebusters Gunpowder to my personal bowl. Only thing I was missing was the cornbread!

Re: Sucklebusters Pinto Bean Seasoning
Thanks for the update and critic, T-Tobe. I've had an order list started but it seems like every few days I come up with something to add and today I'm adding SB Pinto Bean Seasoning.

Re: Sucklebusters Pinto Bean Seasoning
The PB seasoning is awesome! This is the ONLY pinto seasoning "commercially available" that I would ever purchase. I've never liked any other brands out there, so over the years I had crafted my own. I'm man enough to admit 100% that the SB pinto batch came out better than my own.
If nobody has tried it yet, do so. You will not be disappointed!!

A good lookin meal that you had there
exactly what the wife fixed last night she uses her own seasoning, she also did the cornbread in a cast iron skillet, with some oil preheated so it sizzles the crust on before she bakes it...

Just got mine in the mail!
Two questions please, did you pre-soak your dry pintos overnight and did you cook on high or low crock pot setting?

I always pre-soak overnight and rinse well in the morning. I’ll put them in the crockpot on high for a few hours until they get boiling then turn to low for the rest of the day. I also added some bacon ends and pieces to the mix. You are in for a treat!

FWIW that pre-soak and "RINSE" also really helps to remove some of the ?octane? in the Beans - - - if ya know what I mean

The pre soak comes right after you cull the beans for rocks.
