It's Joes fault

Time for a few taco's as well. Chicken, and this was my first time using the boat shells. They work pretty good.

Thanks, I like a pretty good amount of sour cream on my taco's, and those boat shells are good for that.

Cool. They look great. I like to have plenty of sour cream on my tacos too.

We often have taco on fridays but always with minced pork meat. I would be banned for a few days if I served them chicken tacos, even if I think chicken taco sounds great.

Here they are pushing tacos with salmon in commercials on TV. Won't happen in our house.

I can see taco boats are becoming a little trend in Texas now and I am happy to be blamed for it. :laughing7: :laughing7:

Joe, beef and chicken tacos are very popular here. The beef is from skirt steak usually, I have also been known to use a ribeye as well, and the chicken can come from any part of it. I use breast on mine because that is what I like, but they would be very good with boneless thighs also. But they are usually served on corn or flour tortilla's. The ground beef is most common in the hard shell taco's. There is a taco stand at the end of my street that I live on, that serves very good chicken or beef tacos for 1.50 USD and they are awesome. Just the meat, onions, cilantro, and homemade hot sauce that is hot.

I'll takethe chance and serve chicken tacos one day. Maybe I can get som skirt steak too. Not a common cut here.

Those 1.5 usd tacos sound great.

Sounds like you better hold off on the chicken tacos. Or you and The Fonz will be out there doing all that yard work yourself.

Yes, I have fantastic taco's in a short walking distance from my house.

I stand corrected. Checked with my wife at the breakfast about chicken tacos. The answer: we have had chicken tacos before, a few years ago. It was she that made them and I didn't think so much of it.

I guess I have what you call selective memory.

Dilemma: should I try to make them better or just let this pass in silence?

Looks great Sir G'Rail  however, IMHO Tacos are like Chili or Stew - - - there are NO SET INGREDIENTS for either. Heck, I've even had Charro Beans in my Fajita Tacos onces :salut: Tubs look Larapin  :texas:

Parts I stay firmly in the traditional lane mostly when it comes to taco's. either ground beef, beef skirt steak, or chicken.

Woody, no dark sauce on the yard bird.

Sailor, the boat were fresh and crispy and straight out of the oven at 350 for 4 minutes. They were good.

Pal, the only time I've ever done anything "Traditional" was when I played from Sheet Music :D  :laughing7:

Even recently I"ve fixed shrimp, fish and mudbug Tacos :whiteflag:

Parts, ask your buddy if he is home from the race. It was a good one.
