Giant can of seasoned collards from Glory (carrots added because we had them)
Corn bread from a mix.
Pulled pork from when we Q'd our last picnic.
Not at all ashamed of the can or the box. We were drinking that pot likker through a straw.

Seeing the Pot Liquor word makes me want to inject another item that is used by Family and Friends on Greens, Cabbage and some Veggies also. Folks down here call this Pepper Sauce and the cool thing about it is that it can be recycled by just adding heated/boiled Vinegar over the green peppers to be used again. I usually do this about 3 times before buying a new Jar.
Here's the sto-bought Jar: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Texas-Pete-P ... 7201513a2e

Never saw Texas Pete sauce but with the little peppers in there, it looks intriguing. Thanks, OUP.

Re: Southern Inspiration
Pepper sauce on greens is addictive. Can't stand them w/o pepper sauce anymore. Some folks like it on peas too.
BTW, if you find you like pepper sauce it's easy to make in large quantity.
