It's my understanding that Sanderson Farms also supplies HEB with Hill Country Fair branded chickens. So I will either brand as long as they hit my target weight. They are usually only a few cents different in price.

Pilgrim Pride from the local IGA. I have tried the ones from Sams. You never sure what your going to get out of those packs.

Thats true Butcher plus they are usually very large birds, sometimes gotta trim just right to get it in the tray.

White feathered, the brown feathered ones are a little more fatty. If I don't go free range from the back pasture, Sanderson Farms. :twisted:
