in 2016 we cooked for Tailgator's bar and grill, We placed 5th out of 138 teams in pork spare ribs. No shows on, chicken, brisket, or pork butt...go figure. Last year (2017) The focus failed to be about the competition and it was more about drinking and the Party to get the word out for the Restaurant. We're cooking for 242 Bar & Grill this year and so far they seem more to be about the competition... More to follow LOL

We have a 242 right down the road from us that used to be a Tailgater's :tup:

Had our first meeting at the 242 Pub on 1097 in Willis, it's a little bit of a haul from Tomball LOL especially at 6:30pm

i believe there's a long waiting list. We lucked out and got asked to cook by someone who's been in there for a while.
