What do you guys do for organizing your supplies (rubs, salt, sauces, etc that don't have to be refrigerated) as far as storage, transport and day of?

I'm still new at this and have been experimenting with different flavors to find what I like and have/had a decent amount of spices, rubs, etc. I say "had" because I was keeping most everything in one of the largish thermal bags from one of the online bbq places, then storing in the garage in between competitions.

Apparently I backed a little too far into the garage and unbeknownst to me one of the handles from my storage bag hooked my hitch ball. I didn't know anything about it until later when my wife called to say "hey, what color bag did you keep all that stuff in?" We talked a bit and she said "well, it's ALLLL over the road a bit down from our home"

A LOT of stuff (some still unopened) was literally dust in the wind that morning. So, I need to look at something (toolbox?), to keep things more organized, clean, etc. :whiteflag:

Thank you, that definitely looks like an upgrade on my flying bag :)

Is it fairly waterproof for those rainy (are there any other kind?) competition weekends?

I use several plastic tote boxes. And i store them in the attic in my garage. The kids seal up tight and have no issues. Go to a place called “The Container Store”

We use rolling job boxes. We have three of them that holds all of our supplies.

Thank you - those should have been obvious to me

Kobalt and Ridgid have versions that are water and dust resistant, have some organizing shelving, I may go by Lowes/HD later this weekend.

Look at Home Depot for the Dewalt boxes. They have a gasket in the door.
