Added a Roof to my Trailer!

After 10 years of sweating and getting rained on, I finally got a roof put on this week. I also added a "bat wing" to the cooking side that folds out for that coverage. I'd priced out a custom canvas cover which was quoted by 3 firms for ~$1,500 and was able to get this installed for less. I'm going to get my "logo" painted or "wrapped" on the roof so you'll see it when it's down.

I drove it from Longview to Dallas (2 hours) at 70 mph with no issue.

Surprisingly, any tracking was minimal. Additional drag was more noticeable than any tracking.

I'll try and take some detailed pictures tomorrow and post. Sure was nice hanging lights under there last night and being able to easily see what I was doing!

Also, I just got white cutting boards custom cut from a local supplier to go on my front sliding "table" as well as the left and right sides is my cooking counter. The melting point of them is 280 so I didn't get anything to go immediately in front of my lid. Any good ideas on securing them from the bottom so I don't have countersunk holes on the top? It's on top of expanded metal.

Great idea but it looks like you're pulling a plane/wings.
And we all know planes/wings have lift...please be careful when pulling.

Other than the trip from Longview, my pit doesn't travel more than 5-6 miles.
