Gravity feed charcoal smoker material type

Postby Bbq Chris » Mon Jul 24, 2017 1:50 am

Hi guys. I've decided to build a gravity feed smoker. Just want to ask if it will make any difference to build it in 304 stainless or mild steel?
I can weld both.

If you can stand the price and can deal with the constant movement of the 304 due to the heat once built I like the 304 idea. Me I would look at just using mild steel though.
Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
