Skills USA - Smokers built by teen welders

Postby GeeDawg » Tue Apr 17, 2018 9:45 pm

I was at Skills USA state competition in Corpus Christi a couple of weeks ago. Those kids built some amazing smokers and grills. Hope all the pics load.

Sooner .....

Kids are not only talented, but have great taste in versatility. I'm sure you saw the 36" Black Stone in the mix :):)

Good looking stuff. I am on the Ag Mechanics Rodeo Committee here in Houston. They build some really really nice stuff.

That's some really awesome work. :)

Great that the kids are picking up such a valuable skill too. I hear there's actually a nationwide shortage of skilled welders for jobs.
