Pit builder in Whiskey Flats Texas

I saw a pit trailer in front of a bank so I proceeded to ask where they got it. They said they had it made at a custom pit maker in Whiskey Flats Texas between cresson and benbrook. Does anyone have any idea who they might have been referring to?

My understanding is that Whiskey Flats is in area within Ft. Worth so I was wondering if this was made by Brown Welding LLC.??

Whiskey Flats is a region of FTW according to google. It's on hwy 377 between FM 1187 E and Ben Day Murrin Rd. zip 76126. Brown Welding LLC address is on W 7th 76107. Kind of the other side of town. Yet given the names on their smokers Whiskey Flats may have been a model. Here's their web link

Boots, i read this awhile back. It is a good article. I've never cooked on one, but you see a lot of them at cookoffs.

Funny thing finding Whiskey Flats was way easier than finding an address for Brown Welding. Given the address on W 7th and knowing a little bit about that side of FTW the web page photo of the building looks like they may have relocated out on 377.
