Custom propane burner help?

Postby milton1allen » Sun Dec 23, 2018 2:48 pm

Please help! I have a homemade griddle 24 inch x 36 inch made out of 3/16 plate. I am needing information and instructions to build a pipe burner to run underneath the griddle. Pipe size, hole diameter and spaces, everything really. I would like to make it like the 4 tube burner under the Blackstone 36 griddle. Thanks for any help and advice.

I’ve been occasionally looking at doing the same thing, and for what you can get the blackstones for if you get on the right sale, I’m not sure I wouldn’t just buy one and gut it for the burner setup.

You can buy replacement burners of all shapes and sizes plus connector hoses and what not. Save yourself some headaches and just get some already made up and figure out how to mount them under your griddle.
A quick search found this.
