Can anyone ID this smoker?

Postby whregian » Fri Jan 18, 2019 12:54 pm

I saw this driving down the highway near Fort Worth today, and I've been looking online and can't find anything that looks similar to this in terms of scale. I'd estimate its 7 to 8 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet in diameter. I'm just wondering if anyone recognizes the maker, and if so, how much a set up like this would run?

Amen to that; even more Aggie given 8, count 'em, 8 MAJOR bolts per hinge flap, which means somebody purposely over-engineered for a very heavy door. Looks like a 36 inch high pressure pipeline joint, whaddya bet the wall thickness is like a full inch? Looks like a shop made custom out of refinery parts by somebody who really knows how.

If we're ever nuclear attacked by the Russkies or the Chicoms, I would want one of these to hole up in.

Boots is on to something here. And it looks to be heavy enough they set it right on top of the tandems on that trailer.

The marriage of passion, deep skills, and a thick wallet.

Heck, you'd have to build a foundation for that sucker to sit on.
