BBQ pit trailer

Postby Brokesmoke3028 » Fri Feb 15, 2019 7:09 pm

I have a 16’ trailer and I want to put my 14’ pit on one side of it but I’m afraid of the weight. My pit weighs about 2300 pounds any ideas on how to counter the wait on my trailer?

Does the trailer have leaf springs? And what is the rating on the axles?

If you have 3500 lb. axles replace the 1750 lb. springs with 2400 lb. and you should be fine.
