Custom 48” Smoker
This was the first build I’ve done on golf cart wheels and I’m definitely a fan! Moves like nothing.

Great lookin build except somebody has put some satanic symbol on the door...

Re: Custom 48” Smoker
Thanks guys!
The Horns were customer ordered! Don’t blame me! Hahaha.
Plasma table helps for sure, big investment but it makes things so much faster, smoother, and accurate. I’ve got a couple guys that I cut plate for for their builds and they usually come back saying they’ll never hand cut them again lol.
This little fab shop is my hobby turned business and takes most of my nights and weekends away but I enjoy it, especially when folks come by to pick up their new toys.

Re: Custom 48” Smoker
It hurts up front and takes a good while to make the money back but it’s been worth it.
The biggest thing is learning to draw and edit things, I’ve seen several people go into it thinking it’s always point, click, and cut and they are the first to tank. By all means, you can do that but you’ll be stuck with bad designs that are free on the internet and competing with similar minded people at crazy low pricing.
All in all it’s been a learning experience, I bought it as a 4x4, blew it out to 4x8, then ripped everything TorchMate off of it and changed all electronics over to FlashCut. It was a pain but now I know my machine front to back and it runs like a top.

It’s very cool that you started a hobby that became a business. I really like to hear about people doing what they enjoy.
