I'm toying with the idea of making a horizontal grill/offset smoker out of a semi truck fuel tank. It's used, but I was going to degrease and wash the heck out of it, plus do a burn on the inside to get the residual out. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Would I be just ?????? into the wind on this project?

I wouldn't use an aluminum tank. It won't hold heat, and it could give you Alzheimers.
