Hi y'all, I'm going to start a backyard build, and I need a advice;

I'm looking to insulate my firebox with ceramic fiber blanket... Is this the best option that I have to get max performance?

Greetings from Brazil ;

That's actually the stuff we use to insulate aircraft ducting we dont get it from amazon but it's the same stuff. It's good stuff just be careful with it, it can make you good and itchy and if your packing it or fluffing it itll send fibers in the air and you wont want to breath that. Short of that good stuff and will work great.

Oh thank you for the tips... Amazon link was just an example. :mrgreen:

Here in Brazil is very hard to find these large propane tanks... I bought a 40" x 23" tank for my backyard build... I'm looking for a 28" x 20" firebox and a 6" x 40" smoke stack... what do you guys think about this measures?

tks y'all

Hello Y'all

Just started my garage build. Photos from today's work. I'm very happy about this... I'm building a highly inspired Aaron Franklin's pit smoker, but not at the size, as you can see, mine is just a baby lol
