Finally finished my chuck box project. Lots of cutting and fitting to these. This was a good recycling project. Some people were tearing down an old lumberyard that was out of business. They had some very old pine planks that had been used for probably 75 years as platforms to stack the lumber on in the bins. I got some of them for next to nothing. Built two chuck boxes, one for me and one for a friend. Then I used the short pieces and scraps to burn out my barrel to make an ugly barrel smoker. Have finished the smoker now and will post about that project when I get a little time.
