Picked up the Paint today, Hopefully sandblasting 1st of the week .

Stopped by the welding shop Friday afternoon. We decided to measure the Grill , from front of Warming box to rear of firebox its 14' 5" Long. Just a little fun Fact, LOL

Got the pit sandblasted and 1st coast of paint on today :D . it cost 140 bucs to rent the compressor, and get 7 50lb bags of sand.

I am going to paint the flat bar trim around the doors,and the hinges on the warming box with a gray high temp paint

snuck by the welding shop today on the way back to training. The smoker was mounted on the trailer and looks great. I didn't have my camera with me so will have to wait till tomorrow for some pictures. Cant wait to be pulling it home from the shop for the 1st time.

here is a pic from my camera phone. Was working on the door trim and the weather went down hill. I have a few more cosmetic things to do still. I bought a diamond plate box from tractor supply and put it on the opposite side yesterday. I will get some better pics up

Well they have cooked on it a few times at the welding shop, but my first cook will be for the BULLS Season opener this coming Saturday.
