OK folks, need some opinions

What are y'alls thoughts on the Lang 84 deluxe with chargriller?

Thinking about pulling the trigger but need to convince the wife

Pm NewbQ, he has a Lang and he can help ya on that one. I have been around Langs and for what I have seen they do a very sweet job

Lang makes a very good smoker. I used to cook on an older style one ( tank model ) and liked it. It turned out great Q.
Like Bluz said, NewBQ has one of the new rolled steel ones like you are talking about. He could probably answer any of your questions.

You could also contact Konrad_Haskins on this site. I just took a bbq class (The BBQ Institute) he put on a couple of weeks ago and the main pit he used was a brand new Lang 24" x 48" Deluxe reverse flow. We were in some pretty cold conditions (30 degrees, 35mph winds a little snow) and the Lang performed great at holding temps. I can definitely vouch for the great food that came off of it throughout the day including brisket, pork poin, tenderloin, pork butt & chicken. I think if you have the cash to spend, it is a great pit to have. I know Konrad is very pleased with his.

The Lang and a dozen roses ought to do it - not sure you can go wrong with either of those... :wink:
