What to do with water pan and drip bucket?

Postby BladeRunner » Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:26 pm

This might be silly for some of you.
I've been at this about 18 months. The one thing I just can't quite figure out is what to do with the water pan and drip bucket after a cook.

I've resorted to buying cheap cat litter and putting it in a used charcoal bag, then I pour the grease and water into the bag onto the litter.

Anyone got anything better to manage this?

Empty two liter coke bottle and a oil or turkey grease funnel does the job for me.Milk jugs work well also. I also use this for my leftover chicken brine as well.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

I toss the water by the fence in the corner of the yard where my neighbors dog poop stinks the worst, the grease goes into a 1 gal baggie on top of the ashes then into the trash.
