Big Green Egg

Postby ddog27 » Thu Sep 06, 2007 3:59 pm

I bought a big green egg last week! I found it on Craig’s list and it is in excellent condition! The people selling it are an older couple and they are moving. They did not want to move the egg to their new place. They also had a bunch of accessories that they just gave me.

The other cool thing that happened is once I got the egg loaded up they said they also had the Mini EGG. They asked me if I wanted it as well. I asked them how much and they said they would just give it to me if I wanted it! So I walked out of there with a large egg, mini egg and a whole bunch of accessories for $250.00!! Major score!!

Great Deal, for sure :D Now don't be burning charcoal in that thing -Lump is the word. Just a little bit and it'll go for hours.

Did you get the manuals? (hint, lighter fluid will eff up the cooker)

Good buy... I love ceramic cooking. :)

I did have some good results on my WSM but 99% cook ceramic now (unless I need the extra space for a party in which case I'll fire up the 'ol Weber)
