Re: Grill dome
Depends what worth is to a person. Not worth anything to me, because it is too small to meet any of my needs. They sell for $550 new, so if it meets your needs, and there is no damage, it sounds like a good deal.

Re: Grill dome
Don't know anyone that has one and don't have any eggsperience with one.
Clean out any unused lump and ashes and do a good inspection looking for any cracks. Take a left if there are any cracks. If you see a bag of briquettes any where around the neighborhood, take a left. If the gasket is fried, it can be replaced with an after market gasket.
A 15" diameter komado should be able to handle one whole chicken, or 8 thighs, or 6 good sized burgers. I have gotten 3 racks of baby backs on a 13" diameter BGE by cutting them up and getting creative so you should be Able to do the same. Hopefully it comes with a ceramic deflector for low a

Re: Grill dome
Back in '01 when all i did for a while there was research on ceramic cookers, the GrillDome was my 2nd in line choice. The SS hardware and real lifetime warranty were deal makers.
There've been many new players enter the game since then, but i can't see a downside to a GD-if i ever hafta replace my Johnson K (heaven forbid) i'd probly get one unless i hit the lottery and can then afford a Linkletter Komodo K.
