Another New Pit Boss Owner

Postby Swamp Donkeyz BBQ » Mon May 22, 2017 11:05 am

Dipped my toes into the ceramic world. Pit Boss 24. My first cook on it was pork loin chops and some bone out lamb chops. The cooker seems really well constructed, especially the nest. I really enjoyed the first cook on it. I ordered the deflector for it, and will try a pork butt or brisket on it very soon. About the only negative thing I have to say about it is, I let it burn completely out, to see how long it would hold temp on the little bit of lump I put in it, and after it cooled down the vent was fairly stubborn to close back down. I'm really looking forward to playing with this cooker quite a bit more.
