Starting a smallish prime rib

Found this while cleaning out the freezer the other night. Just a simple salt n pepper smoke n eat. We will see how it goes. Going to toss it on the soapstone for a sear once internal is where we want it. Never know until you try.

I'm betting it comes out great. Best Prime Rib I've ever had came off a kamado.

I sort of took a nap and it got overly done. But we still ate the thing.

I would dig into that. The Mrs would concentrate on a salad, too much fat, plus there is pink :shock: :roll: :dont: :lol:

If it's any consoaltion ,that doesn't look "overly done" to me. Or maybe I just prefer a more cooked piece of meat over a slightly raw one :chef:
