Here is an example of that Traeger guy in the mall.... Look at the last comment he made. People ALWAYS ask the price and he says "Gotta call us" or "Come in"... I wonder if there is a restriction on him giving prices online? Just seems like slimy used car salesmen tactics to me! LOL

I for the most part refuse to do business on "those" terms, usually there is a good reason for the low price
the sweetness of a good buy is soon forgotten compared to the properly serviced customer.

From what I have seen - Treager does not allow its dealers to advertise anything less that retail price on their smokers on the internet.

My 2 cents is that a Treager is a Treager as long as its in new condition, if you can get a deal on the price, go for it.

Same story with Big Green Eggs. If they catch a retailer advertising prices on the net, well its doesn't bode well for that retailer.

Well, It cost me $40 and I got the thing shipped back to them. I called today and talked to snotty young girl named Sarah to confirm and not make sure her payment was returned to her.

I should have known better than let her buy it from that guy. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman when we were talking to him. Very high pressure sale. I think I was just in shock my "Very frugal lady" was willing to buy it for me (I think she was blinded by the thought of smoked chicken breast whenever she wanted it

I guess we learned something. and I have about 80 pounds of Treager pellets sitting in my garage wondering what do do with them..lol
