New to Me Pellet Grill, First Cook

Postby Swamp Donkeyz BBQ » Tue Mar 22, 2016 2:59 pm

Some friends of mine, that I cook for on a regular basis, called and asked if I wanted their pellet grill. Needless to say, I was at their house in a matter of minutes. It's an England Stove Works PG 100. They had only used it twice, and they also threw in 200 pounds of pellets. This is my first cook on a pellet grill, and I really like it. I cut up a pork loin into some chops, cooked up some asparagus, and also some mixed veggies, mushrooms, sweet onion, zucchini and yellow squash. This thing is great!

My pellet cooker ranks high on consistantcy, ease of use and reliability. I always turn out good Que. Sometimes I could go for more smoke...

They had 200 pounds of England Hickory Pellets, that they threw in too. I'm not sure who packages them for England though.
