Couple questions from a rookie
What was the total cook time and how many lb brisket ?
I want to try one in my new toy

By the time I got through trimming it, it was probably around 10 pounds. Total cook time was 9 hours.

Hey Neighbor, did you use any extra devices for adding smoke or was that smoke ring straight from the Pellet Grill

Straight from the pellet grill. I think the added moisture from the water pan was a big factor, besides the lower temperature.

lookin good.... nice and moist...
the lower temperature means more pellet burn, more wood burn means more smoke, more smoke means more nitrates which equals better smoke ring....just my $.02

Actually I pre-warmed the oven and let it rest, covered, in the pan for 2 hours before slicing.
