Anybody here have any 1st hand experience with a Bradley smoker? I found some locally and they look alright. I have read some good reviews, but just want to get more info from those that may have actual feedback rather than a padded review

Re: Bradley Smoker
If your talking about a Bradly puck smoker ...my brother has had one for about 5 years.....he hasn't used it for about 4 years . He hates it.
He says it cooks too hot no matter what temp it is set at and the meat comes out tasting like dried out cow hide.

Yessir, that'd be the one. Looks like I would load it up with some of the wife's left over biscuits Never seen puck smokers before this one. I got to looking a bit more and read some good reviews. How could those little pucks get to be too high a temp?

Re: Bradley Smoker
My bro bought it for low and slow smoking Salmon, temp no higher then 150. He tried smoking with it a few times and never liked the results.
For other things it might be just fine....although he tried doing ribs and had the same issues.
Probably just one of those gadgets that has a long learning curve
